Martin Solveig unveils uplifting new single ‘Now Or Never’ featuring Faouzia

Parisian house phenomenon Martin Solveig is back with a bang on new single ‘Now Or Never’ featuring Faouzia, out on 23rd June via POSITIVA/EMI

Kicking off Martin Solveig’s album campaign, ahead of his highly anticipated LP release later this year,  ‘Now Or Never’ launches us into Solveig’s new era.

A rousing, emotional banger featuring a soaring lead vocal from in-demand singer-songwriter Faouzia, ‘Now Or Never’ shows Solveig at the peak of his powers. Ascending piano chords, sublime synths and ingeniously chopped-up vocals make for an unforgettable anthem about seizing the moment. The single is accompanied by a fittingly poignant music video, with slow-motion cinematic visuals capturing Solveig and Faouzia running through urban landscapes towards a blinding light.

Venturing a distinctly new sound, Solveig’s risk taking in ‘Now Or Never’ is beautifully portrayed. Composed on the memory of post-lockdown freedom, the electricity of the track perfectly encapsulates the urgency of experiencing life to its fullest. Through its introspective origins, the track’s sonic essence meanders down more electronic paths, as Solveig takes an exciting leap into the unknown.

Proving themselves a power collaboration, Solveig and Faouzia’s partnership on ‘Now Or Never’ sparked an otherworldly songwriting experience. As Solveig explains “Meeting Faouzia was magical. We speak French, her parents are Moroccan. We understood each other and wrote in simple words that life is now. It’s a track I’ve wanted to make all my life.”

Global multi-platinum-selling Parisian artist Martin Solveig has achieved phenomenal success in his 20 years as a DJ, producer and songwriter and still continues to push the boundaries of music with his pioneering ideas. He honed his craft in his teens, became a resident DJ at revered Parisian clubs Le Palace and Le Queen, and before long was releasing chart-topping singles and producing for Madonna. In recent years Martin has teamed up with fellow house aficionado David Guetta on ‘Thing For You’, and also performs as EUROPA, a collaborative project with fellow producer Jax Jones which most recently found success with the 2022 summer anthem ‘Lonely Heart’ featuring Gracey. With a huge 2023 ahead, Martin’s tour schedule is set to hit 50 shows, alongside 4 sets at Ushuaia, Ibiza this summer.

Solveig is joined on ‘Now Or Never’ by Moroccan-born, Canada-raised Faouzia Ouihya (aka Faouzia), a classically trained pianist and singer/songwriter who applies her powerful and wide vocal range to her vibrant R&B- and Arabic-influenced pop. She has collaborated with big-name artists including David Guetta, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson

Ahead of a huge year and album campaign for Martin Solveig, ‘Now Or Never’ sees the Parisian pioneer at the peak of his powers with an emotional house banger.
