Masked artist MELON drops debut album – This Is MELON, Vol. 1 (Dance)

Fruits Music present the anticipated debut album from masked artist MELON, titled – This Is MELON, Vol. 1 (Dance).

Signalling the anticipated arrival of This Is MELON, Vol. 1 (Dance), an album that traverses many dance (sub)genres & features a carefully curated array of 51 classic cuts – all covered into fresh, current and energetic 2023 dance versions.

Spanning across Piano House, Tech House, Drum & Bass, Future Rave, UK Garage, Breakbeat & beyond – This Is MELON, Vol. 1 (Dance) is also the official launch of MELON, following the success of a number of previous releases. These have included ‘Blue’ (Da Ba Dee) (hitting over 100m views on YouTube & over 50m streams across DSPs), in addition to ‘Hello Hello’ (with dance music superstar INNA) and a ‘Belly Dancer’remix for Imanbek (alongside Italian DJ & Producer duo DMNDS). Throughout the album This Is MELON, Vol. 1 (Dance), MELON delivers a body of work that officially introduces the artist to the world.

Featuring the likes of ‘Sweet Dreams‘ (Are Made of This), where MELON & DMNDS deliver their own cover on the Eurythmics single – through to ‘Another Brick In The Wall’, as MELON serves up more trademark grooves & a cover of the much loved Pink Floyd record.

Keeping the fire burning is ‘Outside‘, meanwhile Corona‘s hit ‘The Rhythm of the Night’ receives the MELON& Rezidential treatment. MELON & DMNDS also deliver their own take on the Ivan Gough & Feenixpawlclassic ‘In My Mind’, whilst MELON & Big Z pay homage to the 80’s hit ‘In The Air Tonight’ – firmly paving the way for the album release ahead.
