Revolution happened. The duo Master System Never Died unveils right in the heart of the summertime the video-teaser for “JOLI”, a forthcoming track which definitely represents a 180º turn in their musical range.
That darky, pulsating and dirty electro sound is temporarily gone. The pair joined forces with the producer Mon DJ and the Afro-American singer Marcella Precise (Pink, Luther Vandross, Musiq & Syleena Johnson, Charlie Wilson, Naughty By Nature) to bring forward a really enjoyable and glittering Tropical pop-house song.
Listening is believing. They’re turning everything up a notch, not just the volume.
“JOLI” will be finally included on a EP set be released via Vendetta Records / Blanco y Negro Music in late August.
On this new song MSND states:
“When we started working on this track, our sole intention was to perform a tune that takes you from the comfort of your home to an idyllic place that exists only in your mind… Joli is an Indian ritual that celebrates the coming of spring. We wanted to make our own version of that burst of emotions, feelings and colors creating finally this Tropical House song performed by the vibrant voice of our particular muse Marcella Precise”.
