Mat.Joe, Otistic, C’Mon – Hypnotized

For a second time this year, Mat.Joe land on Moon Harbour with club-ready brilliance, this time in collaboration with Otistic and C’Mon.

Hannover-born but Berlin-based Mat.Joe are amongst a new school of producers who bring energy, character and soul to house music. They are meticulous in their designs and often collaborate with others such as Ninetoes as they did back in summer. Whether releasing with Mother, Repopulate Mars or elrow Music they always maintain their stylish signature sound. This time they link with Otistic, a Berlin-based sound wizard, and the C’Mon duo from the same city.

Between them, these artists find a perfect sweet spot between house, tribal and tech with ‘Hypnotise.’ It’s a crisp groove that ducks and dives beneath a filtered vocal. There is plenty of raw energy and texture as breakdowns build the tension before the all-important drop comes once more.

‘Hypnotized’ is another modern classic from this brilliant Berlin ensemble.
