Dirtybird is continuing its 20th anniversary celebration with Mat.Joe’s official remix of Kill Frenzy’s 2014 standout ‘All Night Long’ out now.
Released more than a decade ago as the lead single from Taylr Swift, ‘All Night Long’ became a left-field favorite and helped cement Killy Frenzy as one of Dirtybird’s early selectors. In Mat.Joe’s hands, the track gets an energetic flip, bursting with eclectic drum patterns and droning synths that mirror the original’s iconic vocal. Mat.Joe’s remix comes as both a celebration of Dirtybird’s legacy and a nod to one of its most unforgettable tracks.
Mat.Joe first joined the Dirtybird fold in 2019 with the Birdfeed-released ‘Real Headz’, returning to the main label the following year with ‘Drummer Loco’ alongside Kevin Knapp and Maximono. Now a solo venture led by Berlin-based Matthias, Mat.Joe has released on labels like Higher Ground, REALM, Moon Harbour, and This Ain’t Bristol, all while evolving a sound rooted in house, soul, and hip-hop.
Belgian-born producer and DJ Kill Frenzy signed to Dirtybird back in 2012 with his two-track Go To The Mo EP. He’s remained an integral voice on the label over the years, appearing at their flagship Campout festival and contributing to their catalog with releases like ‘Make That Booty Clap’ (2013) and ‘Silo’ (2016). In 2022, Kill Frenzy’s ‘XXX’ was featured on Dirtybird’s acclaimed Deep Cutz compilation.
