Mateo Paz teams up with Jacob Gurevitsch this month to unload their Flamenco-infused collaboration that reworks the legendry Balearic vibes from a sultry Spanish guitar opus from Jacob Gurevitsch, heavily merged into dance-floor driven mid 120s BPM workout. The organic splashes of acoustic guitar slides, squeaks and reverberated strums get a heavy electronic FX makeover to provide a perfect backdrop to the Deep & Progressive House elements to concoct this tasty dance starter.
For Mateo, it’s another string to his production bow on the back of a turbo-charged first half of 2019 that has seen him unload a heavyweight flurry of fine releases into the summer season. With one eye on the Ibiza, European festival and beach-side party seasons this latest offering is clearly concocted with the sun, sea and sand in mind. As Mateo shows no sign of slowing down his latest rush of content, there’s no doubting the guy is currently one of Poland’s hottest exports in the electronic music world.
Jacob Gurevitsch is a highly regarded musician with a passion and precision for the six-stringed guitar. He’s from Denmark but when you here his flair and character on his weapon of choice you can’t help but be transported to the streets of Buenos Aires.
This analogue meets digital collaboration results in a dramatic and stylish club cut that’ll work equally in the sunset/sunrise setting or indeed as a respite on the peak-time underground dancefloor.
