Matroda and KLP Call Out Social Leeches via Scathing Indie Dance-Infused Tech House Single “Bullshit” via Insomniac Records

House music don Matroda and Sydney’s multifaceted tastemaker KLP join forces for the first time on “Bullshit,” a cutting-edge single out October 24th via Insomniac Records. Built as a scathing response to the social leeches who feed on distorted truths, the track channels KLP’s fierce vocal bite into Matroda’s uncompromising tech house framework.

Targeting all the treacherous posers and liars that are wasting space with their disingenuous energy, “Bullshit” is a no-nonsense indie dance track that calls out their bluff. KLP vehemently drags the crowd in question with her sharp, indignant vocal delivery, which is amplified by Matroda’s gritty, club-driven persuasions. Distorted basslines, crisp hi-hats, and stabbing synths work in unison to create tension around her combative cadence, resulting in a powerful tech offering meant to put fake people in their place.

Spelling out the type of shady people in which the fiery lyrics are taking stabs at, KLP says, “I could have written verse upon verse to this one—it was inspired by the many people out in the world who thrive off weak flexes and who struggle with being transparent and decent. I started the concept and it just poured out of me. I played it to some girlfriends that day, to whom it automatically connected with. And I hope it has the same effect for anyone else who hears it!

The collaboration continues Matroda’s long-standing relationship with Insomniac Records. Since his debut on the label in 2020, the Croatian-born producer has released more than a dozen tracks that collectively have amassed millions of streams, including “Forget It” (79M), “Saturday Love” (22.4M), and “Gimme Some Keys” (25M). Currently on tour across North America, Matroda is currently performing at major festivals and venues including stops at Grand Park LA, Escape Halloween, Nocturnal Wonderland (with Wax Motif as ‘Waxtroda’), Breakaway, Contact Winter Music Festival, and Lights All Night

For KLP, the release follows her Insomniac debut with “Running” alongside Dombresky and CHANEY, which received radio support from Kiss FM UK, KCRW, SiriusXM, and C89.5 FM, in addition to press coverage from outlets including Mixmag, EDM Tunes, and CULTR. A platinum-certified, ARIA award-winning artist, KLP continues to establish herself as one of Australia’s leading electronic music figures, with recent performances including Dom Dolla’s residency at Hï Ibiza and an upcoming Australian tour. Her recent single “If U Want My Heart” with KETTAMA and DJ Heartstring reached No. 1 on the UK Cool Cuts Chart and was named BBC Radio 1’s ‘Hottest Record.’

With “Bullshit,” Matroda sharpens the edge of his ever-expanding catalog while KLP cements her global rise as a fearless vocalist and producer unafraid to confront raw emotion head-on. Their pairing feels both timely and inevitable, a collision of two artists who excel at reinvention and boundary-pushing energy. As Insomniac Records continues to spotlight the future of club culture, this single is a reminder of house music’s ability to be both unrelenting and unapologetically human.
