Matthias Tanzmann continues his fruitful collaborative phase with another superb track alongside long-time friend Black Circle

Moon Harbour label head Matthias Tanzmann continues his fruitful collaborative phase with another superb track alongside long-time friend Black Circle.

It was back in April that these two underground stalwarts last came together for ‘Mezcalita’, which was the third time they have done so in as many years. Zurich’s Black Circle is a respected DJ and producer who has a distinctive groove that has taken him to the world’s best labels, clubs and festivals. Matthias, meanwhile, has had another nonstop year of touring and taking his forward-thinking take on Tech House to fans all over the world.

Their ‘Wheels Up’ has a tough groove with stark hits and a menacing bassline that prowls down below the drums. Wispy pads and sci-fi effects bring a future feel as things get ever more strobe-lit and rave-ready. Big horn-like stabs and raw drum fills build the tension until a huge drop will lift the roof off any party.

This is another perfect coming together of two of the scene’s finest artists.
