Global hitmaking DJ & Producer Mau P is back with the release of his new single “Tesla,” a pulsating dance floor anthem set to supercharge the summer festival circuit—via Insomniac Records. The Dutch powerhouse is having a seismic year, fresh off his major prime-time Coachella set and gracing some of the world’s biggest stages including Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland and more.
“Tesla” fuses Mau P’s signature gritty basslines with a futuristic sonic palette, capturing the dynamic energy of late-night club culture while bumping a contagious, head shaking beat and catchy lyrics, “I just popped a Tesla, ain’t no need to charge.” The new single follows the breakout success of “Drugs From Amsterdam,” which launched Mau from underground favorite to international sensation with nearly 230 million streams to date across platforms.
Mau continues to drop hit after hit, with the recent success of “The Less I Know The Better” reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Dance chart, alongside his latest summer banger “Like I Like It” reaching No. 1 on Beatport. Add to that high-profile collabs with Mike Dean (“On Again”), Diplo and Gunna (“Receipts”), and a reimagined spin on Ini Kamoze’s “World A Music” with “Merther,” and Mau’s rise shows no signs of slowing.
With a packed tour schedule and more exciting releases to come, “Tesla” marks another milestone in Mau P’s ascent as one of dance music’s most exciting stars to watch. On the road, Mau will headline marquee venues such as Brooklyn Storehouse in New York, LA Historic Park, and the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater, as well as taking over Pacha Ibiza for a 10-week residency with his trailblazing, multidisciplinary show “Baddest Behaviour,” a concept that’s redefining live electronic performance on the global stage.
