Max Dean Drops ‘In You’ EP feat. wAFF Remix on Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two

neXup frontman and breakthrough talent Max Dean kicks off his 2024 release schedule with an emphatic EP on Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two imprint. Following a slew of credible releases in 2023, which saw Max sit amongst the world’s most prominent Minimal / Deep Tech artists, Max returns to the fore with an emphatic selection of cuts bursting with underground flavours and dancefloor-focused energy. Also coming along for the ride, renowned multi-genre beatsmith wAFF drops an undeniably signature remix of the title cut, ‘In You’. Download/Stream it here: https://fanlink.to/in_you.

Diving straight into the title cut, ‘In You’ will comfort anyone who has heard any of Max’s sets in recent months – it’s finally here. An undeniably archetypal offering, flooded with authentic house vibes from start to finish, Max’s favoured fusion of up-front, bouncy grooves and robust musical elements come out to play, tied together perfectly by a catchy vocal hook you’ll be hard-pressed to forget any time soon.

wAFF’s remix of ‘In You’ comes next, marking the second successive exemplary exhibition on the EP. Rolling drums and a juicy rhythmic bassline carve out the core of the track, bolstered by progressive additions of subtle tonal features, cleverly placed vocal injections and immersive transitions throughout.

Max’s penultimate track ‘Inside’ is business as usual, delivering another bumpy, quirky, effortless vibe-setter. Chunky grooves and intricately layered harmonies set the base for another brilliant vocal-led hip-shaker, leading ideally into ‘FREE NRG’, which sees Max team up with Dmosto for a deep and dubby roller which builds around stripped-back beats and another prominent display of analogue musical warmth from start to finish – rounding off the EP with a classy tip of the hat from one of the UK’s most sought after prospects.

Max Dean’s ‘In You’ EP (incl. wAFF Remix) is available from 26th January 2024 via Four Thirty Two.
