Dishing up tweaking, grooving minimal tech is LA duo Max Low, who storm into summer with their new double hitter EP, ‘Addicted’, featuring ‘My Addiction’ and ‘Plastic Fantastc’ soaked in pure club energy and primed for the dance floor.
“My Addiction” is a raw tech house cut that sees Jamie and Kiraleigh dropping a top line for the first time. The result is a stripped-down yet powerful groove, where crisp percussion meets a hauntingly intimate vocal line that sticks long after the drop. Cooler and more hypnotic, “Plastic Fantastic” is a chugging, warping, dirty slice of tech that’s anchored around a repeating vocal clip that gives the track a stripped-back, late-night edge.
With recent releases landing on top-tier imprints like Terminal Underground, IN/ROTATION, hau5trap, and Farris Wheel, Max Low are increasingly making a name for themselves within the minimal tech space. As their Addicted EP sets the tone for what’s ahead, fans of the pair can expect more music, more tour dates, and more boundary-pushing collabs.
