Novosibirsk nu-disco don Max Lyazgin has seen his star definitely in the ascendant in the last year with releases on illustrious labels including Indiana Tones, Nurvous and Deepalma, as well as his amazing remix for Nic Danilin & Stan Progman on Glamour Punk.
Lawless is his original debut on the label, together with his partner in studio crime Tom Rain. This is a proper low slung house number, with pitched down male vocals, a menacing bassline hook and chunky beats.
Two Glamour Punk family regulars take the remix controls. Bangor bass purveyor Paul Lock keeps things faithful to the original, adding his trademark phat skipping beats, and awesome UK bass house touches. Londoner Zak Gee shows us why he’s one of our favourite up and coming producers, with quirky and hooky vocal chops, crisp beats and a superb groove. Support from Roger Sanchez, Freemasons, Peter Brown and many more.
Yet another quality release on Glamour Punk!
