Maximals and FaderX Are Back on Protocol Recordings with “Free” Featuring Jordan Grace

Maximals and FaderX are back on Protocol Recordings with their newest release “Free,” a dance-pop crossover gem featuring Nashville artist Jordan Grace. The track upholds Protocol‘s signature progressive house sound with a steady build to the danceable yet toned-down drop, complemented with uplifting melodies and Grace’s breathy vocals. “Free” is a feel-good record that will resonate with many listeners who have felt the desire to break away from the sometimes-suffocating responsibilities of life, often finding blissful escape in dance music experiences. It’s the first time that MaximalsFaderX and Jordan Grace have worked together. “Free” is Maximals‘ 8th and FaderX‘s 6th release on the label, following Maximals‘ groovy single “All of Me” with PØP CULTUR, released in May, and Faderx‘s “Lose Yourself” on DOORN Records.

Founded by Nicky RomeroProtocol Recordings is one of the leading imprints for innovative house music; it boasts a roster of heavy-hitters complemented with immensely talented up-and-comers, all with a diverse range of sounds that are guaranteed to light up a dance floor. Among them are Maximals, the Italian duo who are inspired by the atmosphere of dance music in the ’70s and ’80s. Their style is evident in the lighthearted vibes of their tracks, such as “My Best” and their hit “Fall in Line” featuring Nino Lucarelli, which was featured in the Ultra Miami 2017 official aftermovie. Last year, Maximals remixed Raiden and K-pop star YURI‘s “Always Find You.” The Italian trio FaderX first burst onto the Protocol circuit with their track “Cabrio,” and it was apparent that their energetic, driving and groovy sound was a perfect formula for Protocol‘s party-loving listeners. “Free” makes for yet another stellar example of teamwork by Protocol artists. Keep an eye out for releases from Maximals and FaderX coming later this year!
