Maz Releases Emotive Vocal Blend of House and Techno – “Sky Father” in Collaboration with Antdot and Beacon Bloom; Signs with Wasserman for Worldwide Bookings

Brazilian DJ/producer Maz teamed up with his fellow Brazilian Antdot for their new single “Sky Father” with Beacon Bloom which is out now via their own label Dawn Patrol Records. It also coincides with a huge career landmark for Maz in that he has just signed with the Wasserman booking agency, placing himself in the excellent company of artists such as Ben UFOThe Blessed MadonnaBLOND:ISHDJ SeinfeldDom DollaEnrico SangiulianoFred again..Gui BorattoHoney DijonMind AgainstODESZA, and more with the prestigious and world’s biggest agency. “Sky Father” itself represents both artists’ dynamic styles, mixing euphonious melodies with a progressive house and techno influence for a track that balances its emotive lyrics and vocals with a deeply groovy sonic landscape. It’s the perfect track for those moments on the dance floor where everyone wants to sing along. Read on for more on Maz‘s inspiration behind the track and his massive signing with Wasserman:

Although Antdot and I have already released other collaborations on the remix front, ‘Sky Father‘ is the first-ever original track we worked together on. It came even before our remixes of ‘Todo Homem‘ and ‘Povoada,’ which reached #1 on Beatport‘s Organic House and Afro House charts, so now it’s becoming a very special follow-up. It took us a long time to release it because we care deeply about this record, and we invested a significant amount of time making adjustments to improve its sound.” – Maz about “Sky Father

I’m honored and grateful to have Wasserman working with us. I’m incredibly happy to know that such a talented and exceptional team believes in my career. They collaborate with many artists whom I’m a fan of, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of one of the biggest booking agencies in the world.” – Maz about signing to Wasserman

As Brazil‘s current hottest export, Maz has been making waves in his home country’s electronic scene since 2015 before taking the global stage. With a sophisticated sound that includes influences of multiple types of house and techno as well as vocal progressive, Maz has gained support from some of the industry’s most respected names, from DiploTiëstoBlack CoffeeRüfüs Du SolKeinemusik (&MERampaAdam Port), Michael BibiANNAVintage CultureBonoboLee BurridgeBlond:ishMatadorStephan JolkMochakkCamelphat, and Kolombo. His remix of Luediji Luna‘s “Banho de Folhas” has amassed over 7 million streams and reached #1 on Beatport’s Afro House chart, while his remix of Zeca Veloso‘s “Todo Homem” with Antdot also capped at #1 on Organic House. The two’s label Dawn Patrol has already gained incredible traction with its releases, setting Maz and Antdot up for a very successful future.
