In our never-ending quest to find undiscovered talent that expand our musical boundaries, we at Kaleidosphere are actively shying away from being just another dance label. The freedom of musical creativity is to explore genres, textures and platforms and we are committed to discovery on every level.
Enter (MC) Mixson. A millennial hip hop artist and songwriter straight from the heart of Brooklyn NY who came to us with well-produced raps and songs that had vision.
His debut single “Turn It Up” is a bi-coastal collaboration by Mixson and two other rising urban stars. Originally produced by music maker from the west coast, Daniel Melendez, with deliciously sensual intro by Dilini, this is also seeing some amazing electronic/dance remixes by upcoming KSphere artist Mario Litchfield, San Francisco’s own master beat-maker DJ Kue and rounding it off nicely with super-groovy House mixes by the legendary Noel Sanger.
