Melodic Techno Meets Barcelona: Pavel Kosmonaut’s stunning “La Pedrera” EP

Pavel Kosmonaut, a Bayreuth-based electronic music artist specializing in Melodic Techno, first made waves in 2017 with his debut track “Komet” on Riley Reinhold’s renowned label, Traum Schallplatten. Following this initial success, he contributed exclusive releases to the label’s celebrated “Tour de Traum” series and performed extensively as a live act and DJ at festivals and clubs in his home region. Among these performances, the most notable was at the acclaimed festival “Klangtherapie,” held near Nuremberg.

In 2024, Pavel Kosmonaut launched his own label, KLANG DER STERNE, marking a new chapter with the release of the track “1983 Nite,” followed by his debut EP, La Pedrera.

With “La Pedrera”, Pavel Kosmonaut takes listeners on a journey through three iconic locations in Barcelona, a city that holds deep personal significance for him. The opening track, “Park Güell”, captures the tranquility and magic of the park overlooking the city, a masterpiece by Antoni Gaudí.

The title track, “La Pedrera”, pays homage to another Gaudí-designed architectural marvel in the city’s heart. The EP concludes with “Tibidabo,” a tribute to one of Barcelona’s local mountains, acting as a musical counterpart to “Montjuic,” released in 2022 on Traum Schallplatten.

This EP reflects Pavel Kosmonaut’s profound connection to Barcelona, blending architectural inspiration with evocative soundscapes.
