Metapop and Native Instruments have teamed up with Amsterdam Dance Event to present their official remix competition, #RemixKorea.

South Korea is an Asian hub for electronic music. The current Seoul scene is dominated by mainstream K-Pop artists like BTS, Girls' Generation and BIGBANGalongside a thriving underground scene that includes Neon Bunny, Oohyo and Cabinett. That’s why Metapop and Native Instruments have teamed up withAmsterdam Dance Event 2018 to present their next official remix competition,#RemixKorea.
 
Spotlighting the emerging artists, beatmakers, DJs and producers who are defining the modern underground sound of Asia and beyond, #RemixKorea gives music makers like you the chance to showcase your skills and creativity, and get discovered in the process.
 
First, it’s Raiden’s electro pop collaboration with Girls’ Generation’s singer YURI, “Always Find You.” The Seoul-based producer is making waves in the global underground dance scene with his signature blend of technical electronic music and rock ‘n’ roll flair. Earlier this year, he performed live during the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics closing ceremony. Since then, he’s collaborated with leading like-minded artists including Fedde Le Grand, DubVision and Girls’ Generation as well as made memorable appearances at some of the world’s best outdoor festivals including Belgium’s Tomorrowland, Ultra Korea and Ultra Miami.

The song is released through Protocol Recordings. 

"The inspiration for this track was a couple who had a beautiful break up", he said.
