Established Ukrainian Melodic House & Techno stalwart Meyer returns with the third offering on his increasingly popular ETERNAL Records imprint in early March. Kicking off with the title cut, ‘The Reckoning’ follows in the footsteps of its predecessors with celestial undertones and ethereal sonics throughout. A consuming blend of resonant melodic prowess and driving rhythmic arrangements, Meyer’s distinctively gritty acoustic preferences shine through on this gripping avant-garde dancefloor heater.
Injecting the release with enslaving Indie Dance flavours, Nihil Young’s take on ‘The Reckoning’ envelopes listeners in pulsating drum grooves, industrial percussion and savage, sawing synth play. A delightfully dark and marauding club stomper, loaded to the hilt with a coarse kaleidoscope of electronic fragments, Nihil’s remix puts a fiendish cherry on top of another incredible ETERNAL records release.
