Founded 21 years ago by Philadelphia producers Josh Wink and King Britt, Ovum Recordings is one of dance music’s most influential labels. Known for churning out innovative techno and house releases from acts like Loco Dice, Shlomi Aber, KiNK, Nic Fanciulli, Davide Squillace, MANIK, Marc Romboy, Steve Bug, and D’Julz among others, the longstanding imprint will celebrate more than two decades of success at their annual Miami Music Week showcase.
Taking place Thursday March 17 at South Beach’s intimate nightspot Do Not Sit On The Furniture, the 21st annual Ovum party will be headlined by label boss Wink alongside New York beatmaker MANIK and Toronto-bred turntablist Sean Miller. One of the true pioneers of melding house and techno together, Wink’s legacy speaks for itself and will be on display during this rare Miami appearance. And after Loco Dice revealed himself as last year’s secret special guest, we can only imagine what surprises the Ovum team has in store for their 2016 event
