Joris Voorn and Edwin Oosterwal’s rejected imprint continues its impressive run of remix releases by revisiting and refreshing Decembers ‘We Find Deep’ by Michelle Owen and Kruse & Nuernberg.
The original mix with its sweeping drum pattern an addictive groove was somewhat of a trip down memory lane thanks to the wonderful vocal talents of Isis Salam and together with Michelle’s soulful touch, Kruse & Nuernberg created a wonderful, piano driven workout.
Taking on the first of mixes is one of Hamburg’s finest, H.O.S.H.. Currently embedded in a relentless summer touring schedule and fresh from the release of his own new single the Diynamic maestro drops his vision of We Find Deep. Smooth and groovy, H.O.S.H.’s rework delivers his signature hip-popping sound with aplomb, matching Isis’ vocals with his warm textured bass.
On the flip and dropping a vocal and dub version are Hannover’s Mat.Joe. The duo’s hip-hop background brazenly fronts on their exciting mixes. Bottom-heavy bass, lickin’ guitar, hammond chords and handclaps create a block party vibe and a track thats crying out to be played loud. FRESH!
