Sydney disco duo Midnight Pool Party return with brand new single ‘Linger’; the follow-up to their massive 2013 hit, ‘I Want, I Need.’
The single’s inception began when Darren Morilla and Oliver Dela Cruz locked themselves away, with nothing but a vintage turntable and a stack of vinyl – circa late 1990s to early 2000.
Drawing on the nostalgia of their favourite, classic chart dominators, including Mojo, Stardust, Moloko and Jamiroquai, the result is the infectious disco charge that is Midnight Pool Party’s second official single, ‘Linger.’
The release date for ‘Linger’ is Wednesday, April 2nd, but between now and then you can expect a B-side track, ‘Disco Delight’ plus two intoxicating ‘Linger’ remixes; Adelaide producer, @lukemillion gives it a classic Giorgio Moroder discotheque-vibe, while Canberra’s @sondrio saturates ‘Linger’ in a pool of deep, sensual house vibes.
