Mikaela & Friends @ TOX club in Destino Ibiza

This Saturday 29.08.15

In the midst of Ibiza’s summer season, our weekly underground parties at Tox Club with label curator Mikaela are still going strong, and rightly so, with precision-picked artists for each showcase, combining house and techno’s foremost names with some of the scene’s up and coming talents from the next generation.

Joining the LTUR family at the club for this Saturday’s affair, we have Love The Underground’s own Kike Medina. Having already seen an impressive number of releases already this year, including his track ‘Black Sky’ on our VA compilation, we’re looking forward to Kike warming up the club with his palatable tech-house beats.

Also stepping foot in the Tox booth this weekend is Moan Recordings’ Reelow. Familiar with the DJ booths of many renowned nightclubs the world-over, the Hungarian-born talent has also seen his music supported by the likes of Adam Beyer, Marco Carola and many more. Headlining the showcase is none other than Basti Grub, the sound-smith from Frankfurt started to make a name for himself in 2008, with his tracks being picked up by names like Ricardo Villalobos and Loco Dice. He has since gone on to release his uncompromising sound on esteemed outputs such as Desolat, Cocoon and Get Physical.

Basti finishes off the party with one of his special live sets, guaranteed to raise the already soaring energy levels inside the club.

Next Saturday 05.09.15

As we enter September, the final month of our Ibiza residency with Mikaela, we have made sure the quality of the parties remains consistent throughout.

Our next headliners are a pair of familiar faces from our recent Off party showcase in Barcelona. With their early releases receiving support from Marco Carola, Jordan Peak and Francisco Allendes, Moan recordings’ curators Artslaves will be bringing their no-nonsense grooves to the club, bridging the gaps between minimal and techno.

Stepping up to the decks before Artslaves is Metodi Hristov, the Bulgarian-based producer and DJ who maintains his focus on the darker and more raw sounds of tech-house. Having recently played at a number of party hotspots around the world, he has also had his own productions spun by Richie Hawtin, Joris Voorn and Andre Crom just to name a few.

Also joining us on the night, with a discerning ear for quality house and techno, we welcome back up and coming talent Samu Rodriguez to warm things up alongside Love The Underground’s own Mikaela.

Love The Underground Records on Ibiza Radio

Mikaela takes to the Ibiza airwaves every Thursday on Ibiza Global Radio and every Friday on Ibiza Sonica, to play a one-hour set of her newest tech-house and techno selections and also to talk about the upcoming parties and general happenings with the Love The Underground Records imprint. We also upload her weekly shows to our Soundcloud and Mixcloud pages, which you can check out below.
