Mike Bond x DJ Yoyo release ‘Chengdu Girl’ on Generation Smash

Generation Smash familiar Mike Bond teams up with the emerging Asian star DJ Yoyo for the flaring club banger ‘Chengdu Girl’.

With a fizzing spoken topline depicting DJ Yoyo’s life, ‘Chengdu Girl’ moves into hyper-groove as soon as the bassline kicks in. From here, it’s a whomping venomous banger that is seductive and pulls in the listener. A male vocalist joins the party mid-way during the break before the pace resumes into an all-out rampage of musical ecstasy.

London producer is rapidly becoming a key figure in dance music circles. Having appeared at major electronic festivals like Tomorrowland and Mysterland, his DJing has put him on some of the biggest stages in the world. Whilst his music has led him to collaborate with Wolfpack, Henry Fong and Fatman Scoop. Now he’s back on Generation Smash with a new club banger.

Chinese artist DJ Yoyo is no stranger to the Smash Family. Having worked with Mike Bond previously on the ‘Physically Fit (Move it)’ single, alongside Richie Loop, DJ Yoyo has also been making noise on the DJ circuit. Having toured her native China extensively, the international stage looks set to be the next destination for her growing résumé.
