Dutch DJ and producer Mike Mago has unveiled his brand-new EP ‘Colors’, out 25th November.
A three-track release, ‘Colors’ sees Mago continue with his shift in sonic direction that was instigated by recent single ‘Take Me Home’. Kicking things off, the title track is an uplifting, pensive dose of electronica. Upping the tempo, ‘Piece One’ is a shimmering, breakbeat-driven cut, while closing track ‘Piece Two’ provides a wonderfully sensory finale. The track precedes Mago’s forthcoming album, out next year.
Hailing from the city of Amsterdam, Mike Mago is best known for 2014 single ‘Outlines’, a collaboration with Canadian electronic outfit Dragonette that reached #8 in the UK Singles charts. Since then he has released a steady stream of singles and remixes, also performing at the likes of Creamfields, Tomorrowland and Ministry of Sound.
Mike Mago demonstrates his sonic versatility with a powerfully emotional EP.
