Bulgarian talent Mindslash delivers a statement of intent with his debut on Set About, presenting ‘Nightshift’ – a two-track release that distills raw techno power into pure, late-night energy. Born from a difficult period working nightshifts in an alcohol and cigarette shop, the track channels his frustration into sound: he recorded the fridges, cashier desk and beeps that surrounded him, then transformed them into a cathartic, aggressive composition. In a single 10-hour studio session, he shaped these raw elements and crafted a track built for peak-time energy – relentless, controlled and a striking testament to turning struggle into art.

On the flip side, ‘Embrace’ reveals another facet of his sonic identity. Here, Mindslash channels the same power but tempers it with immersive melodic flourishes, striking a balance between rawness and reflection.
