Up next on Katermukke we have a groovy Techno banger from Khainz and Marcus Meinhardt who deliver for us ‘Minimonsta’. A minimal drum beat with simply kicks, claps and a shuffling hi hat play over a heavy sub bass and a groovy synth bass melody, which really goes to show that sometimes simplicity is essential for the dancefloor. As the track progresses we get introduced to a jumpy Electro synth which takes us into the break down, building back up into the explosive sub bass – sure to cause ripples on the dancefloor.

Hailing from Switzerland, DJ and producer Khainz is known for his cutting edge innovative production skills. Growing up in the 90s he found a passion for eEectronic music and in 1999 began to write and produce his own music. Fast forward through the years he has had numerous singles on labels such as Formatik, Hotfingers and Flow just to name a few! He has teamed up with Berlin based Marcus Meinhardt who shares a similar vision in taking influence from the 90s. Enjoying success as a DJ in almost all leading clubs and festivals in Europe, he released his first EP back in 2004. In 2007 he established his very own Upon You Records with friends Marco Resmann and Hawks Grunert. The two’s combined experience pays off on this massive Techno banger.
