Ministry of Sound presents the streetwise house sound of David Zowie and Denney on Saturday 23rd May, backed up by Walker & Royce, Copy Paste Soul and Franky Rizardo in a new underground twist for the club’s Saturday Sessions.
David Zowie’s ‘House Every Weekend’ has become somewhat of a clubbing mantra over the last year across the UK, amassing 1.5 million views on Soundcloud and leading to a deal with Positiva/Virgin for the boldly named Kent-based DJ and producer. With support from Annie Mac, Pete Tong and The Magician, the single is due for release on 31st May.
Hot Creations rising star Denney, whose tracks ‘Low Frequency’ and ‘Pimp Out’ have helped the DJ generate a busy schedule across the UK and U.S. will join David. Denney has also rocked releases on VIVa Music, Saved Records and Pokerflat and has just completed an After Hours mix for Pete Tong.
New York City’s Sam Walker & Gavin Royce will back them up. Walker & Royce have been producing their emotive, heavy grooved house tracks for only 3 years but in that time have released on Crosstown Rebels, Off Recordings, Pets Recordings and Moda Black which featured Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune ‘Sista’ and have garnered a wide-rang of support including Locodice, Sasha, Adam Beyer, Maceo Plex and Gorgon City.
Rounding out the Saturday Sessions roster is outstanding resident DJ Copy Paste Soul.
103 will be hosting Systematik with Franky Rizardo, Bowler, T.Bunts B2B Ben Synz, Dean Chapple B2B James Daniels and Cowlin.
