Resurrecting a label after 11 years is not something that every DJ/producer would relish, but MOGUAI did it in style when he gave new life to his pioneering label PUNX back in May with the hard-hitting new flavor of ‘PunkOmat’. Now the German dance legend delivers some more of his endless expertise and unwavering musical talent through his new single ‘When I Rock’, which will be out on Monday 19th August and available to purchase exclusively through Beatport.
Drawing on many of the influences and experiences he has enjoyed in an illustrious career, MOGUAI has created another absolute electro house stormer – using chopped vocals, pulsating swells of electronica and a pounding 4/4 beat that come together seamlessly and pack one heck of a punch! With a lighter and more melodic breakdown, ‘When I Rock’ has all the ingredients any dance fan could wish for in a track and when it drops, clubbers and festivalgoers all over the world will be whipped up into certain frenzies.
Kicking off the year with the monumental chart-topping collaboration ‘Mammoth’ with Belgian brothers Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike was the perfect start to a slew of quality MOGUAI offerings. Following it up with ‘Champs’ and then signifying a new beginning for PUNX with ‘PunkOmat’, now ‘When I Rock’ sits perfectly in this stream of massive tunes and now he’s taking all of these and the rest of his catalogue of scintillating sounds with him on tour around the world.
Having already rocked Europe this summer – including sets around his native Germany, Ibiza and Tomorrowland in Belgium – MOGUAI will be hitting Asia and North America through August and September.
