Producers Molly Mouse and Jett Polo have added a new dimension to MYRY’s soft pop track ‘Stuck In A Loop’, taking her breathy, distinctive vocals into a realm of buoyant beats and grooving bass. This brother and sister duo have managed to capture the ethereal nature of the original track whilst incorporating tropical house elements to elevate it into a summer anthem.
Discussing the remix, the duo said: “We took MYRY’s song and reworked it into an electronic format that can be mixed by DJs seamlessly for the dance floor. The feeling of the track is consistent with the original; we wanted to keep the chilled, dreamy, emotive vibe. The remix includes added percussive and atmospheric elements; to highlight the energy in an alternative way, taking inspiration from our favourite Ibiza sunset.”
House and disco DJ Molly Mouse has played for brands such as Ibiza Rocks, HotBed and Superfoxx. Her brother Jett Polo, also a DJ and producer, has brought his experience performing at warehouse parties and underground events to collaborate with his sister on the ‘Stuck In A Loop’ remix. The synergy between the siblings is suggestive of a partnership with huge potential, and we look forward to future collaborations.
