The Yacht Week, the unique ‘floating festival’, has teamed up with iconic dance music brand, Ministry Of Sound, to stage two events on ‘The Buzz Boat’ – a fully equipped, floating DJ stage featuring full VOID Acoustic soundsystem. Ministry Of Sound will bring highly respected DJs, Monki and Melé to the incredible parties which take place against the stunning backdrop of the Croatian coastline.

Ministry Of Sound, together with Monki and Melé join a selection of world-class DJs already confirmed to play ‘The Buzz\' as part of The Yacht Week’s huge summer line up, including Mark Knight, Weiss, Illyus & Barrientos, and Offaiah, with even more to come. Monki rose through the ranks of Rinse FM, to a weekly slot on BBC Radio 1Xtra and then to her own residency on BBC Radio 1. Recognised as an influential selector and bonafide party-starter, Monki’s innate DJ skills bring together a unique mix of classic tracks and newly unearthed jams, ensuring she is always in high demand. She has provided a mix for the coveted Fabric Live CD series, runs her own label and curates her own night, Monki & Friends. Monki is a versatile, talented DJ with a deep passion for music; a perfect choice to skipper the sounds on ‘The Buzz\' (performing in week 34 on 19th August).

Hailing from Merseyside, Melé is a hugely respected DJ and producer, underlined by his recent invite to take over the esteemed BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. His ability to mix party-fuelled anthems with underground cuts has seen him in demand, touring the world, tearing up clubs and festivals including Elrow, Barcelona and Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Festival. He delivered an ‘In The House’ compilation, one of the Defected Records legendary series, and boasts a sound all of his own, meshing world music-influenced house, transatlantic hiphop, broader UK sounds and classic Chicago grooves. \'The Buzz\' will be aptly named when Melé comes aboard (performing in week 33 on 12th August).
