The lithuanian Twenty Pound returns with another uncompromising 7 track weapon for Wout Records. The album starts with the eponymous track “Monologas”, a dark synth gem packed full with colossal kicks and dusky percussion. “Otava'” is more deep and atmospheric in comparison, blending introspective grooves with echoing basses. “People Of Detroit” needs all its 9.5 minutes to develop, with the melodic pattern fading in and out, alternating baselines and the hypnotic shaking drums. Definitely a further core track of this huge album. “Perverse Instantiation” and “Zone 3” clearly show Twenty Pound's ability to match a deep, futuristic sound palette with a very human soul. Both tracks perfectly fit together. “Tears Of The Sun” is a dynamic dancefloor killer that won't leave your hard drive. The album ends up with “Troy”; an outstanding club track – right on time for the summer season.
