Monster Machine – ‘Losing my mind’

Just last month, Eora/Sydney-based DJ/Producer Monster Machine made a bold entrance onto the electronic scene with her debut single “Rage”, which was an explosive statement of intent that not only introduced her uncompromising sound but also announced her forthcoming debut EP EXALTED.

The release quickly caught the attention of tastemakers from across the globe, while also earning her a feature on triple j’s Friday Mix program, where she showcased her dynamic approach to bass-driven club music.

This week, Monster Machine is back with the next chapter from EXALTED with a thunderous new single called “Losing My Mind”. Inspired by the cutting-edge worlds of RL Grime, Nitepunk, and Knock2, the track pushes her sonic boundaries even further, blending cinematic tension with floor-shaking intensity.

“‘Losing my mind’ is the next instalment of my foray into making bass music. It blends my love for the Arabic scale, with a darker, grittier and crunchy 140-style drop.” ~ Monster Machine

Built on a foundation of razor-sharp sound design and hypnotic melodies, “Losing my mind” is as much a showcase of her technical prowess as it is of her vision to carve out a distinctive space within the global bass music scene. With its fusion of heavy low-end pressure, experimental textures, and a uniquely personal melodic edge, the track is poised to become a standout moment in her upcoming EP.
