It’s a year since Ninetoes was last on this label with a huge collaboration with Mat.Joe. That was the latest in a long line of chunky underground sounds from the Berlin mainstay who has also been released on the likes of Hot Creations. It’s now a full decade since his ‘Finder’ track was the biggest Ibiza hit of summer 2013 but as he proves here he is still finding fresh new sounds.
The brilliant ‘Bahan’ opens up and is a full-fat house cut with weighty drums, bass, and plenty of prickly percussive energy. It’s a raw track that brims with energy and steamy synth stabs while a tribal vocal chant brings the hook that will send the dance floor wild. The driving ‘Raanee’ is quick and slick with scurrying bass weaving its way between closely stacked drums and fluttering toms as another freaky vocal lights up the whole track. It’s tripped out, hypnotic, and has all the makings of another huge summer anthem.
This is another package destined to make a big impact in the clubs.
