More acts added to Riverside Festival

The show on Sunday 29th May just got a whole lot bigger as headliner Fatboy Slim and local hero Jackmaster will be joined by Kerri Chandler, Julio Bashmore and Joris Voorn

After stunning fans with last week’s first wave of artists, The Electric Frog & Pressure Riverside Festival returns today with new additions Kerri Chandler, Julio Bashmore and Joris Voorn set to ramp up the Sunday line-up.

The festival season kicks off in style this May Bank Holiday weekend with the return of the 4th annual Electric Frog & Pressure Riverside Festival. Festival organisers last week revealed Fatboy Slim, the return of Cocoon at The Riverside featuring Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier, Rødhåd, SLAM, Gary Beck, Ilario Alicante, Jackmaster, Dimitri from Paris, Vril (live) and Dixon Avenue Basement Jams.

Kerri Chandler is the perfect act to bring beautiful, Sunday, soulful house vibes to the festival.  Never scared to get down and deep with his audience, Kerri always brings soul to his sets and as a perfectionist performer, those that can match him are few and far between. A man who transcends boundaries and plays across a range of events from DC10, Circoloco, Southport Soul Weekender- his sets are always the hot topic of post event conversation. Kerri Chandler’s set is sure to bring a smile to your face.

Bristols finest, Julio Bashmore arrives for a return visit to the Riverside Festival on Sunday 29th May. Following up on the success of his past anthems 'Battle For Middle You' and 'Au Seve’ whilst Bashmore's debut album ‘Knockin’ Boots’ sees him develop his inimitable melodic house sound further. With some fantastic BBC Radio One Essential mixes under his belt, Bashmore remains at the forefront of house music.

Joris Voorn will be joining Fatboy Slim and Jackmaster on the Main Stage on Sunday at the Riverside. Joris runs both the labels Rejected and Green, and is a real figurehead for House and Techno worldwide. As well as his own labels he's released on Miyagi, Keynote and Cocoon Recordings, as well as releasing Mixmag's Sunday's at Space mix CD, and Cocoon Heroes. He is a highly respected DJ and producer who headlines festivals throughout the world and we're delighted to welcome him to what will be a massive party on the 29th.

Set to be biggest event in Scotland’s electronic music festival calendar, the outdoor festival will once again take place on the grounds of the iconic Riverside Museum, on the banks of the River Clyde. Dedicated to improving and maximizing the event year on year, 2016 will be bigger than ever before with more bars and more music with the event kicking off earlier at 3 PM.
