They’ve come a long way, the guys from Breathe Carolina, starting off in 2007 as a group blending pop with catchy electronics. This has already led to four released albums, continuously moving forward in their sound, culminating in last year’s album ‘Savages’, where the band explores its electronic dance influences to the fullest. ‘EDM going pop music’ taken to new heights, it’s become one of the trademark sounds of Breathe Carolina.
After releasing several singles from ‘Savages’, this year the group started to deliver some brand new collab tracks; the APEK cooperation ‘Anywhere But Home’ (released on Armada Music) and, more recently, ‘Hero (Satellite)’ with Y&V (out on Spinnin’ Records).
Now, Breathe Carolina returns to Spinnin’ for yet another major collab, this time with young, upcoming New York DJ/producer Ryos. This guy’s been on a serious claim to fame these last months, recently dropping a floor favorite together with Borgeous, the progressive tune ‘Machi’ (Spinnin’ Records).
So, a match made in progressive heaven, bridging another gap between pop and dance music. ‘More Than Ever’ already received the blessing of artists like Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack, W&W, Blasterjaxx and Quintino, now it’s officially out –and it’s bound to make an impact anywhere it gets played.
