Joakim Molitor & Corey James - Morning Sun

Hotly tipped rising Swedish star Joakim Molitor and talented British DJ and producer Corey James team up for this fresh release – ‘Morning Sun’ – an explosive, feel good anthem, which will undoubtedly garner recognition from both the most coveted members of the electronic music industry and dance music fans around the globe. ‘Morning Sun’ is available to download exclusively via Beatport now and on all digital platforms from 20th November.

Opening with a militant, 4×4 pulsating drum-beat, the track builds towards the first emphatically euphoric break-down of smooth, melodic piano rifts and concordantly soulful vocals. The track then begins a weighty and atmospheric electronic ascent, ratcheting up the energy until the mid-way, climactic drop. The roaring chorus of big-room bass and well-executed synths lends itself to a real hands-in-the-air moment – the catchy vocal hook carrying the listener right through to the song’s second breakdown – which is undeniably just as magnificent as the first. With the top-notch production on this track, combined with the stunning vocal refrain, Corey and Joakim have ensured they have on hell of a dancefloor filler on their hands.

Stockholm-based Joakim Molitor has been receiving recent acclaim with multiple productions such as his recent release ‘I Wanna Rock With U’ on Playground Music’s own label, Uniform Beat last month and a host of remixes for the likes of Eric Saade, Sebjak, John De Sohn and Dragonette. His raw talent for songwriting and production of high-quality dance music has left his fans ready and raring for what Joakim has in store for them in the forthcoming year.

Corey James follows on from a prolific summer of festival and club performances worldwide and receiving support from some of the biggest names in the game such as Nicky Romero, Steve Angello & Max Vangeli. His productions have been premiered on the main stages of big-name festivals such as Ultra Music Festival and Creamfields, with 2016 looking set to be an exciting year for the young Brit.
