Gorgon City - Motorola (Max Chapman Remix)

Highly acclaimed UK duo Gorgon City have unveiled their latest track ‘Motorola’, a brooding after-hours floorfiller, that will be released via their Realm imprint, accompanied by a Max Chapman remix. Max Chapman’s remix takes on a more after-hours club feel, thanks to a deep rumbling bassline, and the use of gritty looped chords, and gruff kick-drum sounds.

Following their heavily supported Duke Dumont collaboration ‘Real Life’, (the Ibiza anthem of the 2017 season), and Realm releases ‘Primal Call’ and ‘Grooves on the Vinyl’, Matt and Kye (aka Gorgon City) adopt old school ringtone samples and mobile phone sounds on ‘Motorola’ – interjecting the 90’s nostalgia.

Having established themselves as one of the most in-demand acts around, Gorgon City have enjoyed stellar success over the past 5 years thanks to their unique blend of bass-driven house music and addictive vocals.

Launching their club-focusedREALM imprint in 2017, the label housed recent EP, ‘Grooves On The Vinyl’; with the production gaining huge support from the likes of The Black Madonna, Lee Burridge, CamelPhat, Damian Lazarus, Shiba San & Nicole Moudaber. With ‘Primal Call’ also gaining heavy support from various DJs, including Adam Beyer, Richy Ahmed, John Digweed & Claptone, and charting in the Beatport top 100 chart at #5, the productions highlight the two sides to Gorgon City’s music, and capability to cross between daytime radio and underground club lovers, with effortless ease.

The British pair have also developed a huge international presence and recently headlined San Diego’sCRSSD Festival, plus a huge summer of festivals and Ibiza residency lie ahead. ‘Motorola’ precedesGorgon City’s KINGDOM 2018 tour which will see the duo perform in Dublin, Belfast, Leeds, Birmingham, Berlin, Stockholm, Romania, Estonia, Lithuania and Helsinki, plus an exclusive liveshow at Brixton Academy on 31st March.

‘Motorola’ and the Max Chapman remix are out now.
