Spanish born and now London based DJ / producer Fernando Montes pays tribute to legendary footballer Laurie Cunningham with this EP. Cunningham, the first black footballer to represent England has been a significant inspiration to Fernando throughout his life and the producer also shares personal links with the Cunningham family.
The well rounded EP kicks off with "From the Far East": an uplifting and warm, high energy track with an old school feel.
"Mr Cunningham" is the dj weapon in the package: a groovy bass and a background piano adding to the hypnotic nature of the track, while Alwaan adds his magic touch to the EP to finish it in style with a dance floor killer.
