Multi-platinum rapper ZieZie features on new Pink Panda single ‘Radio’

Perfect Havoc is thrilled to see the return of enigmatic house music producers, Pink Panda to the label with new Afrobeat house single, ‘Radio (feat. ZieZie)’.

Marking the second of three singles to be released on London’s hit-churning imprint, ‘Radio’ mixes driving drum rhythms and bouncy dance pop, perfectly tied together with the Afroswing sounds of British rapper, ZieZie.

Following top Pink Panda releases on Island Records/ Universal with ‘People (Get Together)’ and classy official remixes for Meduza, Dua Lipa and Kesha, Pink Panda now showcase another side to their studio diversity on this latest release.

Not much is known about the producers behind the Pink Panda masks – voted at No. 65 in DJ Mag’s 2021 Top 100 DJs poll (up 17 places from 2020). Their credibility, however, is not under question having previously signed original productions with dance music juggernauts Spinnin’ Records and Armada Music, gaining international radio play and millions of streams for each release, alongside extensive global tours across East Asia and Europe.

The Pandas have remixed for such chart toppers as David Guetta, P!nk and Anne-Marie. And their club-ready remix of Bruno Mars & Cardi B’s hit record ‘Finesse’ enjoyed a five-week stint as No.1 in the Beatport Dance chart.

Joining The Pandas on this new single is the British songwriter of Congolese heritage, ZieZie. Now a platinum selling artist, ZieZie first posted his music online in 2016 and swiftly went on to concoct his first UK Official Charts hit single, ‘Fine Girl’ with producers iLL BLU via a recording contract with RCA.

Alongside multi-platinum artist Aitch, ZieZie appeared on ‘Buss Down’ and ‘French Kisses’ and joined Aitch on his sold-out tour. A flurry of media support followed including nods from Robert Bruce (Capital Xtra), DJ Target (1xtra), Complex and Clash.

Also working with Banx & Ranx, Olivia Holt, and US rapper King Critical, ZieZie has an infectious quality; it’s no wonder there’s a queue of talent waiting in line to work with him.

There’s an extra level of creativity in the output of independent label, Perfect Havoc seen so far in 2022.  From its trademark crossover dance sounds to tech house and afrobeat house, it’s an exciting time for the label.

Having surpassed the three billion streams mark in 2021 and given rise to six UK Top 20 singles including the No.1 single ‘Head & Heart’ by three-time Brit Award nominated producer Joel Corry and MNEK, the question begs: where will the label head next?

With a talent-packed schedule for 2022 that also features releases from Just Kiddin, PS1, Simon Fields, Wankelmut and Tobtok, Perfect Havoc is guaranteed to serve up a ton of new accessible and underground house sounds from both breaking and established talent.
