Music For Dreams is releasing the second Sunset Sessions compilation album on Monday 22nd September 2014 on digital download and stream and a 6-track double vinyl album sampler on Monday 15th September. The download version contains 17 exclusive tracks.
Music For Dreams – The Sunset Sessions #2 is a 41-track album compiled by Danish DJ, producer and club owner extraordinaire, Kenneth Bager (aka Dr Baker), the head honcho of Music For Dreams and one of the most prominent curators of chill out and the Balearic scene.
Following last year’s Sunset Sessions released in association with Cafe Mambo, the second volume continues the evolutionary saga in the growing demand for Balearic chill–inspired tracks and features an eclectic selection of revered names. The likes of classic artists Dusty Springfield, Jan Akkerman, Leon Lowman and Javier Bergia are mixed with emerging names such as Ruf Dug, Lucci Capri, Nautic, Jex Opolis and Axel Borman and serious artists such as Roisin Murphy, Todd Terje, Nils Frahm, Faze Action, Zero 7 and Hollie Cook. The album also contains 17 exclusive tracks including Dusty Springfield, Leon Lowman, Coyote, DJ Pippi & Kenneth Bager, Laidback and Jan Akkerman.
Kenneth Bager has been organising MFD Ibiza events this summer and will be launching the album on Sunday 7th September at We Love… Sundays at Space and Supermartxe on Saturday 13th September. A special album launch is also planned for early September at Lagoon, Ibiza. These dates will be followed by a tour of Brazil and Peru in October and Kenneth continues to promote MFD events at Louisiana Museum (The Guggenheim of Denmark) as well as running the Coma Club and the Apple Flower Festival in Denmark.
The Sunset Sessions #2 is released by Music For Dreams on digital and stream on Monday 22nd September with a vinyl sampler released on Monday 15th September.
