Grace Savage - My Favourite Game

Grace Savage - My Favourite Game

With ongoing support from BBC Introducing and listed as one of ELLE’s ‘100 Most Inspiring Women’, young UK artist Grace Savage has unveiled her brand-new single, ‘My Favourite Game’. A cover of The Cardigans’ much-loved 1998 original, the track follows her first single of 2018, ‘Headlights’, which dropped in February. ‘My Favourite Game’ is taken from her forthcoming EP Control Freak, due out on 23rd May.

The production on Savage’s version is more of a sultry R&B jam than rock rebellion, but her breathy vocals are a perfect match for the original’s memorable vocal hook. It’s a classy tribute which only serves to further cement Savage’s growing reputation as a truly multi talented singer.

A four-time UK Beatboxing champion, Grace Savage first introduced her singing/songwriting abilities last year through the release of her debut EP Savage Grace – a production which was followed by a UK tour culminating in a sold-out headline show at Archspace in London.

Having performed alongside MOBO winner Nadia Rose at the British House in Brazil for the2016 Rio Olympics, Savage has kicked off 2018 to a great start with nominations for "Best Female Solo Act" and "Best Songwriter" at the Unsigned Music Awards alongside impressive acts such as Ray BLK and Jorja Smith.

With an upcoming headline show at Sebright Arms, Grace Savage’s latest release ‘My Favourite Game’ is an exciting insight of what to expect from Control Freak.
