Jameston Thieves & Baewatch - My Head

As 2015 draws to a close, Hysteria Records can look back at one of their most prolific years to date, jam-packed with a continuous stream of cutting-edge releases that have gained immense support from key industry tastemakers including Tiësto, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Afrojack, W&W, Dyro and many more. Determined to make even more noise before the New Year, Jameston Thieves and Baewatch’s massive collaboration ‘My Head’ has been handpicked for the label’s latest release, and is out now on all DSPs!

Like a patchwork quilt of dance music, ‘My Head’ summons sounds from all over the dance music spectrum to create a hybrid track that is set to do some serious damage over the coming months. Pulling listeners in with a bouncy nu-disco intro, the trio gradually blends in high-pitched vocoders before leading listeners into a whomping future house drop. Brimming with digital warble, winding synths and a metallic-sounding breakdown, this epic cut demonstrates the talent these young producers share, and will help push them further into the spotlight as artists to watch over the course of the next year.Providing up-and-coming artists with a platform to get their sound out there, Hysteria Records continues to push the boundaries of electronic music, releasing some of the freshest and most exciting tracks time and time again. ‘My Head’ may be Jameston Thieves debut release on the imprint, but he has spent the past two years making a solid name for himself with his unique experimental sound, featuring hard, in your face percussion and almighty drops. Releasing their first track, ‘How I Roll’, on Hysteria Records in September, Baewatch clearly know how to impress the label’s heads, tapping into the current bass-house movement that has captivated so many listeners the world over. Fingers crossed this isn’t the last collaboration from this triumphant trio.
