Timid Boy - My Number 3 EP

The 110th release on Timid Boy and Acumen's imprint Time Has Changed comes from the main man himself Timid Boy.

Having released on the likes of VIVa, SCI + TEC and Saved he now brings us an exquisite production My Number 3, which also gets two on point reworks from the likes of Shosho and DJ Lion & Tomy Wahl.

Timid Boy’s work is a real progressive one, with each breakdown leading to new additions making their way into the recipe.

A constant hum takes control of the colour while shuffling hi-hats offer up a serious groove that is going to prove hard not to bounce along to. Wailing vocals signal that the meatier section is around the corner once more, before you’re thrown into the pounding
 drop of rich bass and cool rides.

Shosho adds in a light chirping of birds and many different percussive elements for a richer groove from the off. Deep house stabs reverberate along the journey, taking greatest effect in the echoing breakdown. DJ Lion & Tomy Wahl’s take brings in more simplistic drums for a more direct approach and one that truly pays off.
