Myon gives SANJAY’s ‘Waiting For The Sun’ a sizzling French house touch

Hailed as Hungary’s hottest export, the highly regarded Myon has been enlisted for remix duties on the single ‘Waiting For The Sun’ by the up-and-coming, multi-instrumentalist, SANJAY.

Out now on SANJAY’s own Purple Condor Records, Myon’s effortlessly cool and summery new house rework is the latest in a faultless series of remixes of Sanjay’s sounds. It follows a superb soul-funk inspired rework of the same track from ViVA label head Steve Lawler last year, and remixes of other SANJAY originals by the Grammy-nominated Zoo Brazil and Los Angeles-scene mainstay Davi.

DJ and Producer Myon is respected throughout the industry and by clubbers alike, appearing in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll a tidy five times. He has remixed a cross-section of superstars from Lana Del Rey to Tiësto and Armin van Buuren to Above & Beyond. Myon’s studio output has secured several Billboard Top 10 radio hits while picking up 100+ million worldwide Spotify streams and playing globally renowned events like Tomorrowland, EDC and Ultra.

He is also one of the most streamed trance acts in the game, and an in-demand collaborator who has worked with the likes of ATB and Grammy nominees Fatum, so truly does shape the contemporary dance landscape.

This new remix is a gloriously upbeat and feel-good tune that arrives just in time for summer. The loopy French touch-style synths will wash over the listener in warm and bright waves of positivity. The vocal soars up top, the piano chords are lush, and the drums swing with irresistible charm. It’s a surefire summer anthem.

SANJAY is still a relatively new name by all accounts, but the innovative artist has been winning many friends across the industry since his debut ‘Initiation’ EP in 2021. A dexterous DJ, engineer, guitarist and singer, SANJAY is quietly proving himself to be adept at a wide range of house styles that mix live and electronic elements.

Residing in the Joshua Tree desert in California, SANJAY’s guiding principle is ‘Music is Medicine’, a theme evident in his spiritual, sun-kissed sounds that have seen him headline on the Playa at the legendary Burning Man as well as tour the world with members of the Gypsy Kings.

This latest remix is another great teaser ahead of Sanjay’s upcoming one-man live show and debut LP ‘Ancestral Visions’. Inspired by exploration and spiritual experiences, SANJAY promises to bring a mix of pop culture and spirituality to the music scene.
