MYSTERYLAND HOLLAND SIGNS UP HARDWELL, STEVE AOKI AND MARTIN GARRIX

Mysteryland, the world’s longest-running festival, today unveils the first part of the festival line-up for the Netherlands, with a staggering array of music, art, acts, food, décor and theater and an amazing  mix of major DJs and underground artists. These include big names like Hardwell, Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix, Loco Dice, Chris Liebing, ISH & Dadara and Kate Raudenbush. Mysteryland will be kicking up a storm on August 23rd at the former Floriade site in Hoofddorp. Ticket sales start at 10 am (CET) on Saturday, April 5th.

Mysteryland exclusive – World no. 1 DJ Hardwell!
Hardwell, the world’s number one DJ, will be performing exclusively at this year’s Mysteryland and he’ll be bringing the festival to a resounding and spectacular climax. And of course, Mysteryland regular and party king Steve Aoki simply has to be there after his legendary closing set at last year’s festival. Mysteryland can also confirm that Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix, Nervo, Sander van Doorn and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano will all be there for the party. This year, Mysteryland has three stages offering a wide range of techno, techhouse and deephouse, offered by the likes of Loco Dice, Chris Leibing, Joris Voorn, Art Department and Ben Sims.

Traffasi in a tropical mood
If that’s not enough, Mysteryland has the amazing Yellow Claw, who teamed up with Frans Bauer last year to bring down the house at the Heineken Starclub.  And for those who want something with a heavier beat, dubstep demon Rusko and hardstyle heroes Frontliner and Noisecontrollers are on the Q Dance program. Or if you’re looking for something fresh, famous Caribbean act Traffasi will be laying down tunes live from a tropical pineapple island, while The Flexican & Sef will be adding a hip hop beats flavor to the nights entertainment.

Creative line-up more diverse than ever
Crazy acts, surreally-lit trees, obscure figures, maze-like routes, street theater, leading artists are just some of the visual and audial adventures Mysteryland is offering visitors this year. The art route is even bigger this year and thanks to popular demand The Healing Garden will once again be taking festival-goers to a higher plane. On top of that, we have Owari No Nai, a Japanese area full of Geishas gone wild and enough bad behavior to last a lifetime. Mysteryland has also hired world famous artists ISH and Dadara for what is set to be a fascinating joint work of art, while light artist Joris Strijbos will be experimenting with the latest mind-blowing lighting effects. Elsewhere, power-chick Kate Raudenbush – famous for her amazing installations at Burning Man – is creating something truly special for this year’s Mysteryland. And DJ, artist, pointer expert and living work of art Steven de Peven has been given his very own area to go wild in. To top all off, we also have a Boomfanfare, a Bollywood bar with swinging afro-disco and a Crooning Jazz Club.

Tasty international eats.
Mysteryland is a big believer in giving its partying guests great food and drink and this year is no different. Guests can choose from a dizzying array of organic, local, fair trade, vegetarian, vegan, gluten, and lactose-free snack and meals. Of course festival goers can grab some fast-food snacks like the famous Dutch croquet-in-a-bun or a delicious plate of pearl barley risotto. But it might be a lot more fun to pop over to the plastic terrace of the Microwave-bar and grab something that’s never been near a microwave, or pick one the many special beers on offer at beer garden. And there’s a Healthy Food Camp, complete with a nutritionist from Adams Apples, or you can sit down for a proper restaurant meal with award-winning cook book writer, columnist, TEDx talker and supremely honest chef Jonathan Karpathios. There is plenty to learn about healthy eating too at Mysteryland!
