Ukrainian producer Lugovskiy makes his SIZE Records debut with his new EP N.001. Out now viaSteve Angello’s revered label, 'N.001' is first of three EPs to come from the enigmatic artist.
The EP leads with ‘Broken Glass’ featuring Chris Calvert. The track flaunts mellow synth chords and downtempo beats, underpinning Calvert’s smooth vocals. Speaking about ‘Broken Glass’, Lugovskiy says:
“The song means could mean different things to different people. For me, it’s about letting go, and realizing some things are out of your hands.”
Hailing from Kiev, Lugovskiy’s sound is firmly embedded in the electronica/ambient genre. He’s influenced by the likes of Bonobo, ODESZA and SIZE label boss Steve Angello.
'N.001' is not only an introduction to the first of three EPs to be released on SIZE over the coming months, but also establishes Lugovskiy’s sound and production style to the masses. Letting his music speak, the Ukrainian is one to watch for the year ahead.
