Following hot on the heels of their private remix of Kygo’s ‘Firestone’, Third Party return with a three track ‘Nation’ EP for Steve Angello’s seminal label Size. Title track ‘Nation’ features Arias and Daniel Gidlund (on Rise Again). Opening with the aptly named ‘Power’; the EP will be available on September 25th on all platforms. This is the 5th offering from the duo since undertaking the sizable task of putting out 12 releases in 12 months.
With their recent output being released through a variety of labels, this progressive house EP finds the perfect home in Size. ‘Power’ builds ominously and courses with energy; culminating in heavy bass driven peaks throughout. ‘Nation’ is a euphoric, synth heavy alternative. Complete with rolling basslines, it showcases the production versatility Third Party possess.
About Third Party
Childhood friends turned accomplished studio outfit, a reassuring level of respect has met Jonnie Macaire and Harry Bass’s journey from the unsuspecting backdrop of Essex into the forefront of electronic music. Since breakout offering ‘Release’, Third Party’s four-year rise has conjured some notably accomplished moments.
From performing at spots as diverse as Brixton Academy, Creamfields and Las Vegas’ XS to collaborating with Steve Angello & remixing Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Sigma’s UK Number 1 ’ Nobody To Love’, Third Party are building on their most prolific year yet and still have much more to come from their 12×12 series.
