NAUSE – ANOTHER YOU (SONNY ALVEN REMIX)
A month since Nause released their beautifully uplifting track ‘Another You’, the Swedish duo are back with an exceptional remix by Tove Lo’s favorite up-and-coming producer, 20-year-old Sonny Alven.
Sonny Alven’s remix of ‘Another You’ bolsters the soaring vocals of Julia Karlsson, giving them heavy support from synths, a solid backbeat and a great deep house feel. The groovy guitar riffs and wispy repetition of the vocals give this track another dimension and add some depth to the already ethereal track.
While it may seem that Swedish house producers are dime a dozen these days, every once in a while there are some that truly stand out for their natural talent and ability to produce great music time and time again. Such is the case with Swedish duo Jacob Criborn and Leonard Scheja, better known as Nause. Having taken the states by storm earlier this year on tour with Swedish ‘sisters’ Rebecca & Fiona and a summer spent playing dates across Scandinavia, Jacob and Leonard’s recent return to the studio is a sure reminder to all why this Swedish Grammy-nominated pair are here to stay.
