Need2Soul presents Ron Trent

On Saturday November 9 quality London party promoter Need2Soul welcomes back an old friend as Ron Trent returns to the capital for an all-night-long eight-hour set, that will see the Chicago house music legend entertain revelers with an unforgettable, one-man party to bring the house down at Brixton playhouse Plan B.
A firm favourite within the Need2Soul fold, Ron Trent sold out the incredible Shoreditch Studios party back in February and graced the Need2Soul decks for an almighty b2b session with Joe Claussell and Theo Parrish in May. The deep house veteran has had a busy 2013 – having debuted in Brazil for an all day Sunday session and a headline show at the infamous Silver Room Block Party in Chicago this summer – and shows no signs of slowing down as he gets back into the Need2Soul groove.

A perennial presence in music since the early 1990s, Ron Trent is the ultimate record selector and is well versed with keeping his crowds moving all night. The co-founder of Prescription Records – a label known for issuing superbly produced, epic dance music by drawing influences from all over the world and delighting clubbers, as well as DJs with its unique sound – is widely considered to be one of the most influential names in the Chicago house scene.

Ron Trent’s sets tick all the deep house boxes, with elements of soul, funk and world music threaded seamlessly throughout. His musical thirst for knowledge and quest to explore all kinds of genres ensures he is always evolving as a producer and a DJ.

Need2Soul brings Ron Trent to the intimate industrial chic surroundings of Plan B on November 9, for a house head’s fantasy party. An unmissible event – block off your calendar and grab your tickets now.

Tickets: From £10 / £15 / More On The Door – www.need2soul.com / www.facebook.com/need2soul / www.twitter.com/Need2Soul
