Returning to the label that helped catapult their career with the release of smash hits “Heartbeat,” “What I’ve Waited For” and “Harmony,” Vicetone team up with Cozi Zuehlsdorff for their brand new single “Nevada,” out now on Monstercat.
Captivating from start to finish, “Nevada” hits you with that classic melodic heartfelt Vicetone timbre we have come to appreciate from the dutch duo. Delivering an expansive and lush melody within a beat-driven, cinematic soundscape, Cozi Zuehlsdorff provides warm vocals that are backed by a deep bass rhythm. As seen in their debut EP Auroraearlier this year, Vicetone effortlessly crosses the barrier between pop and electronic music.
Vicetone says, “When we finished ‘Nevada', we knew that Monstercat was the first label we wanted to send it to. We have always had a great relationship with the Monstercat team, dating all the way back to 2012 with the release of ‘Harmony’, which was the first Vicetone single to ever be signed to a label. ‘Nevada' is the perfect track to live on a diverse label like Monstercat and we're very happy to be back working with them on this special release.”
Comprised of Ruben Den Boer and Victor Pool, Vicetone have made the DJ Mag Top 100 for the past three years in a row, with multiple Top 10 singles on Beatport including “I’m On Fire,” “Nothing Stopping Me” and “Pitch Black,” the former of which reached #1 on Beatport’s Progressive House Chart. This year saw the duo transitioning from singles into longer forms with the release of Aurora, their debut EP, along with a following North American tour that featured performances in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto and more.
